The Protect-A-Grid® with Handles premium grid encasement is an all enclosed polycarbonate Lexan™ fabrication designed to reduce the chance of incidental grid damage from atypical handling. With sleek designs and curved corners, Protect-A-Grid fabrications can be easily slid under patients and/or stood upright for cross-table examinations. Protect-A-Grid with Handles features handles on both the long and short axis of the grid. This allows better leverage and ease of use when positioning the grid and cassette for the radiographer. The Protect-A-Grid with Handles also features superior structural integrity with all four sides of the fabrication reinforced to prevent damage to the encased grid. Also loading the cassette into the Protect-A-Grid with Handles is easy with its innovative spring-loaded slot.
